Holiday Cottages in the Peak DistrictThis local inn, built in the 19th Century, was renamed the Little
John by the villagers in 1947, and recently refurbished to provide food
and accommodation for holiday makers, walkers and the general public. There
is a set menu and also a specials board, popular with our visitors and
locals alike, and the bar is well known for traditional hand pulled
ales (several from local micro breweries) and a selection of lagers,
ciders and Guinness. During the week we also have speciality themed
nights, namely, a curry night on Tuesday, a steak night on
Thursday and a fish night on Friday. The inn has SKY Sports, a pool table, darts board, juke box, quiz
machine and 3 wide screen tv's. If you're here on a week end, why not
join in with our Friday night quiz or play killer pool on the Sunday
evening. |
